TO A VENUE NEAR YOU
Currently, Olivia is completing her Honours year at the Queensland Conservatorium and recently performed the role of Cupid in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria under the direction of the award winning Constantine Costi.
Olivia found her love for music listening to her grandmother’s opera singing. From a young age, she found herself listening to opera to fall asleep, and practising music became part of her every day. She went to high school in Cincinnati, Ohio, and honed her skills in choirs, music studies and formal vocal and piano lessons.
In high school, she enjoyed singing with the May Festival Choir when a surprising opportunity came her way. Olivia was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall New York after being discovered through a YouTube video, which led to a week of intensive musical training and marked the beginning of her musical career.
Olivia’s passion drew her to study classical voice at Temple University in Philadelphia. During lockdowns she reassessed her path and found renewal in Australia’s music scene. She transferred to Griffith Conservatorium Queensland and is now a vocal performance student. She has since performed in Val Machin Scenes and also played the role of Sister Cercatrice in Suor Angelica. In May 2025, Olivia placed 3rd at the Queensland Vocal Competition.
